Two things that come up often and are quicker to read than to ask.
Adding a partner commander. Open a player's counters, then swipe sideways across the damage number. The gesture is deliberately hidden from ordinary tapping so a fast exchange never triggers it by accident.
Your game is not lost. Tapp saves after every change and restores the table when it reopens, so a closed app, a dead battery, and a phone that locked mid-turn all come back to the same board.
